Inspired by the light work of Robert Irwin, the Cathedral is a meditative, healing path of red light, which invites the viewer to pause, reflect, and to be in the present moment.

Inside the Installation
Materials: LEDs, wiring components, fabricated aluminum structure
There’s about 500 feet of wiring and 300 feet of LEDs throughout the installation.
I started creating light-based work in 2023.
Red light is known to improve health--from skin to pain management to memory.
The artist worked with his dad to install the Cathedral.

Evan Verrilli is a Cincinnati, Ohio based multidisciplinary artist and designer. By day, he works for companies and brands, large and small as an art director, designer, illustrator, and animator. By night, he paints, draws, and creates light installations.
